As much as possible, it is advisable to maintain natural teeth throughout life, to go for periodic checkups with a good doctor and to undergo tartar removal treatments and guidance in cleaning teeth and gums ("hygienist treatments").

But of course, life is stronger, and sometimes we find ourselves in a neglected state, with a number of teeth that are no longer in the mouth, or other teeth in a bad condition. What do we do then?

There is no need to despair, there is no need to fear, "all that is needed" is to find a good dentist, who knows how to save as much as possible from the existing situation the possible infrastructure, and knows how to complete what you have already lost, by bridges, implants and crowns. So true, as an ancient Japanese book says, if you looked for a good guitar teacher for two years, and found one, you did it quickly, so

is the matter regarding extensive restorative treatment. Doctors with comprehensive

knowledge, patience for details – both in the examination and diagnosis stage, and in the treatment plan creation stage, and of course in the treatment itself – are not numerous, but they exist, and you just have to look and not despair.

In addition, let it be said immediately, the process is not easy or simple,

neither for the doctor nor for the patient.

A mouth that has undergone tooth loss, usually some of the remaining teeth move from their correct position to the gaps that have been created. Gum disease affects the teeth and gums, and creates problems of its own. A meticulous process of examination and diagnosis must be undergone, with careful recording of the findings, diagnoses, and a list of problems. Based on this list, the doctor will prepare a treatment plan, which will address both the short-term problems – lack of teeth, poor aesthetics – and the like, and the creation of long-term solutions – proper occlusion, stable aesthetics, and most importantly, a healthy and stable dentition, one that can maintain itself with your help and the doctor's help in periodic checkups.
